The mails are sent from my server and the mail addresses database lives on my server, so nothing like MailChimp, Aweber, etc. is involved.

Each new Newsletter subscription is an additional motivation to me to write better posts – and more often. (When writing an article it’s so much better to know that 100 people will get notified than just hoping for some random clicks via Google.)

For the RSS feeds I recommend a good RSS reader application. You’ll find some recommendations in my Gute RSS-Feeds article. (The article is in German but you’ll easily spot the links to the applications at the beginning of the post.)
